Our rebranding of City West Water has taken in everything from the
design of an overall visual language to the development of industry-
focussed programs promoting water conservation.


We also work with them to create sustainable messages
which encourage behavioural change for residential, industrial
and commercial customers across Melbourne.




2009 Report Series

City West Water’s report series are a chance for them to reflect on their
achievements in water conservation. We came up with the “every drop counts”
concept where City West Water and their clients can show off their efforts with pride.

The system we’ve developed integrates sustainable design principles into a modern, user-centered signage family – helping people to enjoy everything from the St Kilda Botanical Gardens to the Elwood Foreshore just that little bit more.

course guides, posters and the MSD website. The end result has
been the design of a sophisticated and flexible brand which positions
the school at the forefront of international design education.

& Garden Show, Kmart were after an event identity which showcased
how their extensive product range could bring their consumers’
backyards to life. The target market for the campaign was a diverse retail audience –
from first homebuyers through to retirees. The end result was a vibrant identity which helped Kmart to lift their standing in the ‘home improvement’ market – winning them a gold medal for the Best Retail Display along the way.

comprehensive pedestrian signage system for three of their most
significant local areas – St Kilda, South Melbourne and Port Melbourne.
The system we developed is part of Port Phillip’s sustainable transport
strategy – to get more people walking more often, and to help reduce
traffic congestion in these high profile areas. The City of Port Phillip now has directional signs, on-street information panels with area and walking maps, and heritage markers that are bound together by a consistent visual language. They also now have the framework to guide the consistent development of future signage within the municipality.



St Kilda

This wayfaring system consists of 26 individually designed panels
across St Kilda and St Kilda East, linking St Kilda Junction and
Balaclava Station to the foreshore via Fitzroy, Carlisle and Acland Streets.




Port Melbourne

This directional signage system makes use of existing street furniture –
rubbish bins – to provide 130 directional indicators across Port Melbourne.




South Melbourne

Developed in partnership with the historic South Melbourne Traders Association, this directional signage
system links Albert Park to Southern Cross Station via the Clarendon Street shopping precinct.

Make Your Grandkids Proud Campaign

In the wake of a severe downturn in the travel industry due to SARS
and 9/11, STA Travel approached us to develop a national brand
campaign which would inspire and encourage people to travel again.		 We came up with the “make your grandkids proud” creative, which went on
to be one of their most successful brand campaigns, gaining an outstanding level of cut-through amongst the often over-saturated 18-35 market.




Retail Environment

Over a sustained period we developed a variety of mini-campaigns for STA Travel’s
retail environment. These low-budget posters, flyers and ads helped to engage a
broad audience and contributed to the witty tone of the brand.




Live & Learn Guides

A suite of travel guides developed for people living working and volunteering abroad.
