    Laura Cornhill
    Creative Director

    As a founding partner and director, Laura works closely with clients to identify their business challenges. She develops design strategies that advance the creative direction of their brands, leading the team in creating adventurous ideas which deliver tangible results. Laura has been instrumental in defining and building brand personalities for the Cities of Melbourne and Sydney, Fed Square, RMIT, Melbourne School of Design and STA Travel. She is a regular presenter at industry events, sits on advisory panels, and has won awards from AGDA, AILA, the Melbourne Design Awards and VicHealth.

    Susan Carew
    Studio Management & Strategic Communications

    Susan brings 14 years of broad experience in the design, digital and advertising industries both in Melbourne and London. She has worked on the account planning, production and management of accounts for clients such as Holden, Digital UK, Freeview, Waitrose, Tourism Victoria and the University of Melbourne. She has co-ordinated teams to deliver national ad campaigns, content-managed websites, printed collateral, outdoor and installation pieces. Susan also works with Laura on strategic planning for clients – ensuring the studio’s creative solutions are bang on the business objectives.

    Michael Brydon
    Studio/Account Co-ordinator

    In his role as Studio and Account Co-ordinator, Michael supports both the creative and management sides of the business to ensure projects are delivered on time, on budget and on brief. He brings six years experience in the architectural and interior design industry together with insights gleaned from a history of work in the government sector. His brand experience includes household names such as Miele, Dulux, Bluescope Steel and the Victorian Greens. Michael’s skills in copywriting and creative production – in particular – help ensure the best possible creative outcomes are achieved on all projects.

    Richard Seyb
    Senior Designer

    A born and bred New Zealander, Richard has a genuine passion for creating stand out brands. His twelve years of experience covers everything from large scale branding and government sector communications, to youth focused resources. Richard has worked with a range of household names such as FIFA, the Discovery Channel, ANZ and the University of Melbourne. In his role as Senior Designer, Richard is responsible for strategic problem solving, design leadership and contributing his considerable insights and experience to all briefs.

    Sam Curcio

    Sam has worked across a range of sectors and clients, including Lonely Planet, Origin Energy, Carlton and United Breweries, RMIT University and the Cities of Melbourne, Sydney and Adelaide. Sam’s design skills bring great value to digital and print campaigns, wayfinding signage, B2B projects as well as branding and collateral for festivals and launches. She also has a penchant for illustration, runs a rockin’ blog called Every Second, and was a recent speaker at AGDA’s First Five Out series.


    Nicolette Atkinson

    Nicolette has worked with large universities and not-for profits, as well as consumer brands such as Stihl, and public authorities like Parks Victoria. She has developed significant skills in publication design as well as animation – developing animated cinema ads and digital campaigns for the likes of Monash University and the City of Melbourne. Her work has featured in Touch Magazine; she was an AGIdeas New Star finalist; and in 2011 she was the recipient of an AGDA award for Typography.


    Louise Walker

    Louise is a graduate of the renowned MADA design program at Monash University and brings a wealth of streetwise experience having spent three years designing for one of Melbourne’s most popular cafes and coffee roasteries – St Ali. Now working alongside senior team members at Studio Binocular, Louise has been busy with everything from public health advertising campaigns for the Victorian Government, to placemaking and signage systems for the City of Casey and bespoke brand promotions for RMIT University.
