WattElse Solar specialises in the consultation, design, sale and installation of solar-powered energy solutions for Australian homes. Our role was to rebrand their organisation and strengthen the communication of the brand’s distinctive values – a no-compromise mandate on quality, affordability and simplicity. The rebrand was also strongly focussed on setting WattElse apart from their competitors in a newly saturated market.
Designed to highlight the brand’s value of simplicity, the new WattElse brandmark embraces the sun, which is – quite literally – powering the WattElse product.
The brand’s iconic yellow circle has then been used as a base to illustrate a series of tailored, hero messages which showcase the brand’s service mandate and personality – sincere, smart, positive and down-to-earth. Up against a suite of competitors’ conventional and generic marketing methods, this graphic approach developed a fresh, unique voice in the marketplace, providing the brand with a strong point of difference to really stand out from the crowd.
