Studio Binocular was engaged to develop an identity, campaign and website for Support Small Business Day – a Victorian Government initiative to engage small businesses and to encourage the public to support their local economy. The campaign delivered excellent results, successfully growing business registration numbers and social media followers.
The campaign identity centred around the sense of pride small business owners have in their enterprises, and encouraged customers to celebrate the contribution which small businesses make to our economy and our community. Local business heroes were captured throughout Melbourne and regional Victoria, and then utilised across a full print and digital advertising campaign.
The campaign also oversaw comprehensive social media engagement and asset generation. The Support Small Business Day website and mobile site was also a significant undertaking – with user generated content allowing businesses to create and upload their own profiles, while consumers were able to search and filter through relevant businesses close to them.
