Featuring the work of eminent Australians such as Ross Garnaut and Tim Flannery, The Sustainability at Melbourne publication showcases the University of Melbourne’s commitment to sustainability research. The publication profiles 15 of the estimated 1300 researchers currently working on everything from water, food and climate change to protecting wildlife and improving the way our cities work.
Studio Binocular worked closely with the university to develop a look and feel which highlights the ‘quiet optimism’ of the work.
The publication was produced as both a hard copy and an interactive digital version. The latter not only leverages new technology in on-screen publications but also enables users to view content in a non-linear fashion and increases the university’s capacity to reach new audiences.
